-This piece created over 16 hours of solid time and two and a half days is wildy intriguing to me and full of so many layers and textures... it's a dream to look at BUT TOUCHING IT is my favorite!!!!

It's a large piece (19.5x21.5) on a luxurious, heavy pound, soft and deeply absorbent art paper that I found at @jerrysjacksonville and I'm so in love with the texture and character of this paper I'll be back for more!

Just the paper is sexy as hell... lol but let's talk about the art!!!

Started out very abstract- swipe to second slide to see the actual underpainting, what lies beneath creating the foundation for this work.

If you swipe back and forth you can see that I created the mosaic vases by painting around their shapes and leaving the original abstract intact.

There seems to be kind of a vintage- retro -cosmic -kinda vibe going on, it's happy and electric and fun!

It's large enough to be the center of attention and I can totally imagine a space designed around it. Braided rug and oversized armchairs and plants and books and flowers in eclectic vases and cats.... lol lots of cats!
