You cannot help but fall in love, want to touch this, daydream for hours and contemplate the feelings it evokes, you won't be able to stop yourself. And why would you want too?
The purpose of art is to make us feel.
When I am painting or creating, I am often lost in thought and really let each piece kind of come to life on their own, they show me who they are.
As I was working on this piece and reflecting on how hard things have been the last few months, and how often I remind myself the hard part of the story is the best part, it's the part where growth happens, where we are tested and have to choose. It's the part we will one day share with others, that will inspire them to keep at it, keep going and have faith.
Stay the course and push through the discomfort, or give up?
I'm no quitter. lol
I remind myself; this is part of the story I will tell. And I stay ignited and keep on going.
I am determined. I will succeed.
I become lost in feeling once my thoughts are let go - Joy accompanied me while I shaped and layered and painted this. I let myself drift in that happy vibration and the faith that everything is always working out for me and I am right on time.
Title of this piece- 'Good Things Are Coming' is a reminder to us all to stay focused on the good, and the good will keep coming. :)
This style of art moves me. There is something so special about taking abandoned, worn and well-loved studio materials -that worked so hard to help me create beautiful works of art and instead of discarding them, finding them new purpose, a joyful resting place to be loved forever and ever.
I can’t wait to see who this piece attracts!!! I am so very much in love with it.
