This piece is the very first of many I plan to create in this series and is very special to me. 

I believe that art is so much more than the tangible final result. It’s also every thing that leads up to it. The thought process, method, tools used, the paint palette and of course the artist. 

This piece is the prototype of a series I’ e been dreaming about. Laying in bed considering and needing to capture the moment on my clipboard and easel where the paint is mixed right on the board and the tape unpulled shows the entire work of art, how I continue the painting right overthe tape, maintaining the composition and body language of the flowers and leaves. 

This things are far to often stripped away, leaving clean beautiful lines that only tell some of the story. 

I want you to see more, feel more and connect more to the artist behind it all and get a little closer to what feels like magic to me. 

It’s important to create the things our heart loves, follow our own passions and curiosity and follow what’s interesting to us. 

When we do this we create an energy that attracts more of the same and we find our tribe.

We have to let go of the idea of perfection and lean into authenticity.
